Buck Mason was born 45 years ago in the small Texas town of Seville. He was never much for academics, and while he was decent at sports, he wasn't a star athelete. What he did have was musical talent, and that he had in spades. His daddy taught him how to strum a guitar, and voice lessons after school helped him develop his natural talent into true skill. In between school and chores, he cobbled together lines of poetry and put them to music. All his hard work paid off at nineteen when he was noticed by a talent scout from Houston. His first single put him on the map, and his country music career took off.

Ten years later, he would meet Diedre McKale, and the two would start up a whirlwind romance. One that came to a screeching halt when she found that she was pregnant with his child. Although Buck was ecstatic, Dee was not ready for a family. Though it broke his heart, Buck convinced her to keep the baby, and claimed sole custody when she was born. Emily became his pride and joy, and he took time off from his career to make sure he could raise her up right. It wasn't always easy, but he wouldn't trade a single moment for anything.

Two years ago, Buck starred in the CMT miniseries 'Wild Justice', playing the lead role of Marshal Jeb McAllen. A classic Western tale of lost love and retribution, the three-hour television series brought Buck back to the entertainment world. He's since put out a new album, 'Dreamin' Like Crazy', which has since gone gold.

Recently, Buck and Emily both had gotten the wandering itch. They'd seen about as much as they'd cared to of their Texas home. Packing up in his pickup truck, they started road tripping. When they arrived in Colorado, Emily instantly fell in love with the forests. She begged her daddy to stay, and he could never tell her no. And so they made the move and settled in Pokoh's Peak. While Em attends high school and prepares for college, Buck has set up his recording studio and prepares for his next music project.

  • I'm A Li'l Bit Country - Buck is a known name in the world of country music (Fame 3). He published his first hit single, 'Home In Texas', when he was nineteen and was soon on his way to the big times. Over the years, he's had numerous albums go gold. He faded into obscurity for a few years after the birth of his daughter. But a few years back, he starred in the CMT miniseries 'Wild Justice', which served to reignite his country music career. His latest single, 'Love Don't Work Like That', currently sits at Number 8 on the Billboard Country Music Chart, and he's recently finished filming the sequel to Wild Justice, 'Long Arm Of The Law'. Are you a country music fan? You may have heard some of Buck's work.
  • All The Single Daddies - Buck has a 16-year-old daughter, Emily Mason. He's raised her all by his lonesome, bringing her up as best he can. She's the sole reason for his move to Colorado, having fallen in love with the forests and wanting to study to become a park ranger when she grows up. Have you got a high school aged kid yourself? Maybe Emily has made some new friends in school.
